Why is western wear and the influence of the American West still resonating today. Growing up I was inspired by classic films like Butch Cassidy, Giant and 3:10 to Yuma, I always admired those characters and their effortlessly cool style. Western wear—whether it's cowboy boots, denim, or a hat—has this iconic presence. It’s more than just clothing; it represents American grit and determination. Whether you're a rancher on the plains or someone living in the city, there's a place for Western wear in all of our lives.

One of the brands I got to work with on my journey across America, was Tecovas, which truly embodies this spirit. Founded in 2015 by Paul Hedrick, Tecovas’s main focus is crafting high-quality western boots that not only look great but are also super comfortable, well made and affordable. Tecovas pays tribute to Old West traditions while catering to modern needs, and I think that balance is key.

Then there’s Taylor Sheridan, the creator of Yellowstone. He’s a master storyteller who has really reignited our fascination with the West. His shows bring us back to that rugged beauty and complexity of Western life, capturing the essence of Americana in a way that's struck a chord with so many people.

In the end, Western wear and shows like Yellowstone are about more than just style or entertainment. They’re about connecting to something deeper—honoring a heritage and keeping the spirit of the West alive.
