We're at Diamond Cross Ranch, Wyoming — wide open land, tall grass, and a silence that speaks for itself. Following a day in the life of Grant Golliher, owner and horse whisperer, the film opens slow. A sweeping shot across the plain, Grant pulling on his boots, his hat, taking a long look at the land he knows better than most. Then the pace picks up — horses rounded up, saddle cinched, riding out across the plain to high ground. It closes quiet. Grant walks into the old barn, places his hat on his saddle, and disappears out of focus. A film made for Stetson, told through the man who wears one like it was made for him.
